Named as one of the best races in the country by USA Today, the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K is expected to have more than 40,000 people turnout to participate in the event on March 31, 2012.

This is sure to be the most entertaining Saturday you’ll experience this spring with Spirit Groups, Party Stops, costumed runners, partying spectators, live music from 30 bands representing genres from Jazz to Indie/Alternative and an exciting post-race party. There is even a kid’s run, so make sure to bring your whole family out to participate.

If you’re not a runner, then that’s OK. Just enjoy some of the above events and make sure to cheer on those who are racing. However, if you are of a competitive spirit, then you’ll want to make sure you’re on the top of your game with prizes spanning from $500 for fifth place all the way up to $2,500 for first place. There is a lot of talk in Washington these days about insider trading and the “ethical” dilemma of allowing congress to capitalize on information while the general public may not. While congress begins their debate we will share some Boone Homes insider information about our Richmond new homes that that is perfectly legal. This insider information is based on data of what has happened recently, forecasts for this year and years of experience in building new homes.
