Retreat to a Country Setting for the Holidays

Friday, November 30th, 2012

Thanksgiving and Black Friday are now behind us and our minds are thinking of sleigh rides, Christmas trees, shopping, gifts and retiring to the country to enjoy the peaceful season. Retreating to enjoy the season is easy when you live in the country setting of the Coach Homes of Kinloch. Why? To start off, the neighborhood is considered a maintenance free neighborhood. Your driveway is cleared after the snow settles in the winter, painting is done on the home as needed, gutters are kept clean and many other tedious chores are no longer yours to complete when you purchase a no maintenance home in Richmond, Va. No maintenance equals a winter wonderland and, for that matter, summer paradise.  (more…)

no maintenance home in Richmond

Ashmont

This year we have experienced the best new home sales we have seen in the last four years. Bellingham at Twin Hickory, a community of no maintenance homes in Richmond, Va., has seen the most significant increases. These homes are located in the heart of Glen Allen and boast the most convenient lifestyle. Surrounded by a network of sidewalks, parks, dining and entertainment, the community can arguably be defined as one of the best around. One can be at the library, at the park or merely enjoying the afternoon sunshine during a stroll.

Bellingham at Twin Hickory has been designed for one level living. Each home has been architecturally enhanced with the idea of reducing steps to and from the main living area. No home in the community will have more than two steps from the street into the home. (more…)

This Holiday Season we are Thankful for our Dedicated Boone Homes Team

Wednesday, November 21st, 2012

In the midst of this season of remembrance and thankfulness, it is good to remember the people who work day to day to create our beautiful new homes in Richmond.

The process could not start without our architectural staff who works tirelessly to design every detail of the homes. Nor could we expect the homes to sparkle with the latest finishes if our selections coordinators did not have a great eye for design. Construction would grind to a halt and production would not be able to move homeowners in on time if we did not have an excellent production team lead by the most competent experts in the field. Pieces of the home would be lacking if our estimating department did not control the costs and ensure complete packages are delivered to each Richmond custom home.  We also could not expect the office to be run efficiently without the commitment of our office staff who collect, organize, receive, pay and administrate all our sales. Boone Homes’ sales professionals are commendable as they are dedicated to each client personally and endeavor to make the experience as personal and pleasant as possible. (more…)

new home in Richmond, Va

If you are ready to purchase a new home in Richmond, VA it is always a good idea to compare available inventory of used homes with the available inventory of new homes. Why? Great question.   When you entertain the idea of purchasing a used home, though your investment may be sound, there is stylistic and personal preference updating to contend with. While this may not be a tremendous issue, updating may just be the issue worth considering in the initial cost of homeownership equation. For example, replacing appliances in the kitchen to a similar appliance with a more contemporary flair or simply a color change can cost anywhere from $2,000 for simpler homes to over $10,000 and you still have a used home.
