Each year thousands of Americans honor these heroes with parades, ceremonies, fireworks and more. Events have been planned to allow residents of Richmond neighborhoods to remember and pay tribute to those that have fallen.
Rocketts Red Glare
Residents looking to celebrate Memorial Day with music, food and fireworks will want to stop by Rocketts Landing on Sunday, May 26, 2013 for the Rocketts Red Glare. Festivities kick off at 5:30 p.m. with The Kings of Swing expected to start playing at 6:30 p.m. Food trucks from RVA Street Foodies will be at the event to provide delicious fare including: Chupacabra, Soul Ice, King of Pops, Habaneros, The Dog Wagon, Curbside Creations Food Truck, Sideways Mobile Bistro and The Meatball Company.
