Richmond New Homes
There is a lot of talk in Washington these days about insider trading and the “ethical” dilemma of allowing congress to capitalize on information while the general public may not. While congress begins their debate we will share some Boone Homes insider information about our Richmond new homes that that is perfectly legal. This insider information is based on data of what has happened recently, forecasts for this year and years of experience in building new homes.
Insider information with real life data shows that in the last few weeks Boone Homes has sold nearly our entire new home inventory. This bit of information alone can seem like an irregularity in the market until you meld it with the forecast for this year from the National Association of Home Builders. The association asserts that there will be an increased demand for new homes creating a shortage by the 3rd quarter of 2012. In conversations with local real estate professionals on the beat, this information does not seem to be exclusive to home builders as they claim to have seen the best beginning to the spring housing market since before the “Great Recession.” (more…)

Eliminate Cooking Odors from your Richmond New Homes
Chefs great and small all have one thing in common: their cooking can sometimes create odors that don’t necessarily complement your Richmond new homes’ atmosphere. Who knew that the smell of burnt cake, the odor left behind from fried fish or the garlic in last night’s pasta could entrench itself so deeply in your homes? The battle lines have been drawn. Odor can disperse throughout a home easily when cooking, unless you have a vented hood above your cooking space.
We believe in building every new home with a way to remove unnecessary kitchen odors before they permeate the home. The method of removing the air-bound odors is through a vented hood installed over the kitchen range. The vented hood pulls the odors directly off the range top and promptly shows them the door. Summer and the beach are like old friends, seldom separated. Crashing waves, people buried in sand, castles and princesses being chased by ungallant knights with the rude intent of getting royalty wet. All the activity followed by a glass of lemonade and a spectacular sunset. Rest would be complete if someone was able to keep track of the yard left behind. The grass will be knee high by the time you get home – unless you lived in a neighborhood of Richmond custom homes where all that maintenance was taken care of routinely, even if you are at the beach.
No maintenance homes and neighborhoods have existed in the Richmond area for quite some time. These neighborhoods are best suited for the serious professional and for those with an active adult lifestyle. At a maintenance free community, you are released from yard work so that you can enjoy your lawn without all the routine and repetitive maintenance that consumes valuable moments with family and friends. A no maintenance neighborhood also allows you the ability and freedom to visit the beach indiscriminately and whimsically. No need to hire the unreliable boy down the street who will need to round bale the hay in your yard right before you return. (more…)

What would be the value be in having each room in the house wired with a data jack that could be used for phone or computer? What values would there be in Richmond new homes that had surround sound wiring already built into their rooms? What would be the value of a first floor study with data, cable and phone jacks for all the possible technology a home office could need? What would the value be of a digital home? Would having the home prewired with digital technology prevent you from patching walls torn by technology needs?
Every home built by Boone Homes includes pre-wiring for technology and digital needs while the home is under constructed. Each custom new home built by Boone Homes includes many of these digital needs during construction to minimize the need for future wall repairs. (more…)

I was so excited when I went in a store at the mall with my teen-age daughter a few days ago, and saw the clothing from the 80′s was back in style. Isn’t it amazing how styles change, and people scramble to make sure they are keeping up. Imagine the whole “Miami Vice” look coming back — brings a little tear to your eye doesn’t it? While leg warmers, parachute pants, and other great things may be back in style for a little while, some things like a little black dress or a strand of pearls are timeless and never go out of style. It is the same with new luxury homes in Richmond by Boone Homes, our homes are built to be timeless. Our styles and designs are created to look as good in 10, 20 or even 30 years as they do now. That is an important thing to (more…)

One of the most beautiful times of the year is fall. While the heat of the summer melds into the history books with the pint sized Jedi and pixies of Halloween, the crisp clean air of fall evokes traditions. Traditions that have been in incubation all year hatch in the kitchen surrounded by miniature sugar elves covered in powder sugar and dotted with multi-colored sprinkles. What a great time for nut covered candied apples, laced top apple pie and sugar cookies angels adorned with frosting. The kitchen certainly does enhance the memories of a well-executed tradition.
If you are searching for Richmond new homes, you’ll want to make sure to look at Boone Homes of Richmond. We believe in making the kitchen the launching pad for all of your holiday traditions. Care and planning goes into every detail of the kitchen. (more…)

Everyone needs a safe resting place to hide from snow, rain and heat. The need for shelter is one of the most basic needs of humanity. But what about a place where family can trade care, stress, appointments, and business for a conversation immersed in comfort and privacy? Does a place like that exist? Magic does happen…I’d like to say it does for those who purchase Richmond new homes from Boone Homes.
Though Boone Homes cannot harness your family’s schedule Boone Homes can and has designed every floor plan for family. Mudrooms with custom designed cubbies grab book bag and coat clutter from the incoming clutter fairies. Family rooms melt into the kitchen optimizing family time, private conversation and intimacy. Sing along with the holiday tunes wafting through your built in speaker system, or simply turn down the lights and jointly stare at the dancing flames in your fireplace. Sugar pixies and restless Jedi Warriors will snuggle with you on the couch, enjoying bowls of popcorn, ready to live out the latest round of Clone Wars or Sugar Pixie Hollow. (more…)

Most of the best things in life are simple. For example, compare a walk through the park with the grand kids to a trip to Chuck E Cheese. Which event sounds more relaxing? My guess is you probably selected the event without the rodent and cardboard pizza. Simplicity once again takes its rightful place at the top of the list.
In your search for simplicity and Richmond new homes, you’ll want to visit the Coach Homes of Kinloch, we started with simplicity in mind. In our design we did not remove the intricacy of architectural detail, nor did we remove the luxury of the homes. Boone Homes design for the Coach Homes of Kinloch removed one thing to make life simple. Maintenance. (more…)
