The area surrounding each Boone Homes community has hidden treasures and resources that boost and improve one’s way of life. One such event is the annual Literary Festival hosted by John Tyler Community College. The festival will take place March 1 through the 4. This year’s author and special speaker will be Darnell Arnoult, a poet and acclaimed writer of the novel Sufficient Grace.
Darnell will be touring all of the John Tyler campuses and sharing a series of excerpts from some of her writings. John Tyler has several other engaging events within the Literary Festival such as a writing workshops and gallery talks further deepen the value contributed by John Tyler to the surrounding community.
Much like the community treasures provided by John Tyler to the surrounding neighborhoods, are the hidden treasures of vast value within the construction methods used to build a new Boone Home. (more…)
