Around the city lights are low, music is soft, Valentines is here and love is in the air.

For those of you who are looking to put a spin on the traditionally romantic holiday,  here are some events in Richmond that may help stimulate the “swoon-ability” of your Valentine’s weekend:

To start the weekend off for the out-of-doors enthusiast, there is the 8k race Sweetheart Race in one of Boone Homes‘ recently completed new home neighborhoods in the Richmond, the Grove.  The event is scheduled for Feb. 13 at 8:30 a.m. weather permitting, so get up early throw on some warm clothes and kick of your Valentines weekend running hand-in-hand with your favorite guy or gal.  (more…)
